Biggest smile in ages

So I was hunting for a mid life crisis and wondering whether to opt for Audi TT, Boxster or Z4. After about 4months scouring Autotrader and other sites, driving kids and partner bananas I came across a shiny 2011 2.0 Sdrive MSport with comfort package that was 220 miles away. Price was a shade higher than I had originally planned to spend, but it has crazy low miles.... soooo..... banged a deposit down on the phone and went down to take a look a week or so later.
Best decision I've made in ages :) Many years ago I had a 318ti with the M Sport package. Not the quickest set of wheels, but virtually zero body roll and handled a treat. Test drive of said Z4 was enough to prise open the purse strings. 220 miles of motorway driving to get back home :driving: and I'm a happy little soldier. Now working out all the intricacies of ownership, like where the heck is the first aid kit hiding. Did find the locking wheel nut thingy but haven't spotted jack yet, although I guess one is rather redundant with runflats.

Just want a few dry days so I can drop the top even if it does mean donning a dodgy woolly hat - no point in have a convertible if you aren't prepared to take the lid off, even if it is close to zero outside. So if you happen to spot a white debadged Z4 cruising around with the roof off and the driver is wearing dubious headgear, give them a toot, it might be me :D

Welcome to the forum, nothing wrong in wearing dodgy hats with the roof down in winter - I do it all the time :driving:
Look forward to seeing some pictures of your car soon

Edit: the first aid box in the E85 is under the passenger seat, not sure if its the same in the E89

Welcome to middle earth. Sounds like you found a minter. Look forward to some Photos. :)

Welcome to the forum and my first aid kit and the "wheel locking nutty thing" were both found under the floor in the boot
