How many owners launch their cars from 0 to top end on a daily basis?

Its probably not a good idea to publicly brag about what speed you do and when you do it.
Everybody does it now and again, I am no angel but pick my times and places and try not to piss off other road users while doing it.
There have been cases in the past where the police have used forums to build cases against people for driving dangerously.
You have supplied lots of info on here that could be used.
You are obviously a big boy and can do what you like but maybe you should have a bit more restraint and keep your speeding for certain times and places, not everywhere.
You have also told us about a couple of your friends who have died doing similar things to you, maybe you should learn a lesson from their mistakes.

You need evidence to stand in a court of law. Who said on public roads??

You mention bragging and time and place. I work all the time and the place........ M6 Toll is behind my house. You can’t get a more derelict private road in the country

It is massively sobering.

You've said more than enough to be used against you as proven by 10 Pence Short's experience recounted in detail on PH.

Heresay and talking a good one doesn’t stand in a court of law. They need hard evidence to convict. If your wet behind the ears, you will hang yourself.
There is no crime of conspiracy to speed on a public highway. Conspiracy is talking about it, with intention.
From what I’ve scanned through he caused an accident. Straddling both lanes on a B road. theres pure stupidity from the offset

That topic wasnt really what I was talking about. I was talking more about if there is an accident stuff online can be used to build a case against you. Whether you can say later that you made it all up would be a bit late.
There was a car nut who caused an accident on his way home from a forum meet. He had been said to have been driving like a loony by witnesses at the crash on the day, which wouldnt have helped, but afterwards there was lots of evidence found on online forums where he posted about speeding, racing, burnouts etc. and the police used this to build a case that the accident that he caused was more than just an accident and that he was a terror on the roads.

I'm not saying you're going to get in trouble purely based on comments on here but when something does go wrong it'll potentially be another nail in your coffin so to speak.

He didn't do more than many of us might but it went wrong. He's no more stupid than you are 'ragging it to the max'. He was straddling the road because he lost control.

The thread is worth reading properly but if you can't take anything from it then more fool you.

That topic also drew evidence from a forum about the guy to say that his general driving was reckless to add weight to the case against him. It's one of the things he disputes but didn't fight it as he was genuinely sorry for what he'd done and accepted he had to pay.
