Strange question, but is it right that there's only just enough space in the footwell for driving with size 11 shoes? If I'm wearing even slightly bulky shoes (trainers/boots etc) then I catch my feet on the plastic under the steering column. It looks like it's all in the right place, but I have had my steering column changed so I wonder if something has been refitted incorrectly.
 
This is why I had to drive with driving shoes in my old Z, I m size 11 - 11.5 as well.

I had a worse problem with the Macan I drove last week, it was an auto box and there was not enough space next to the brake pedal for my feet. I was wearing normal work shoes.
