Big oil leak. Oil filter housing gasket? * now fixed *

I’ve got the housing off again this morning and I do have both dowel present actually. It’s absolutely swimming with oil both below but also above the filter housing. Could it still be the housing gasket if it’s above the location of the gasket? I know it will be under pressure but could it get up there? Any other ideas what I should be looking for? Thanks.

No signs of the seal being breached on those faces?
What about the actual oil filter above it? Seals all in place?
Or the oil cooler?
 
I took it off, cleaned it all up and reinstalled the gasket and seems to have sorted it. The only thing I did differently was tighten the housing down more incrementally doing 5nm, 12nm, 17nm then 22nm. I can only think it wasn’t seated properly before.
