Big Brake kit - worth the money?

My Z4M is going in for maintenance today, including getting a set of Pagid RS14 front and RS29 rear (to replace EBC Yellow which I wasn't happy about). My use is 50/50 road/track, I'll let you know how the Pagid's work with the OEM discs and I'll compare that with a full AP BBK kit a friend of mine has on his car.

My personal view (with the AP BBK) is that the car was over-braked at the rear with RS29s all round. Might be better with 14s on the front,not sure. I have changed the rear pads for RS 4-2 in an attempt to address it, but not tested them yet.

I can totally understand that. A friend of mine is running RS14 front, RS44 rear on his AP BBK (front + rear), and he really likes the brake balance those pads provide. It's also the setup Pagid suggets. Unfortunately RS44 is not available for OEM rear brake calipers, so I had to choose RS29.
