Big bike in the boot of a coupe

Before I bought my Z4 coupe I looked around on the net and saw that some people had managed to fit bikes in their boots, but generally they were road bikes or 'standard' mountain bikes. Now I have a 27.5" freeride bike with 180mm travel front and back and wanted to see if it would fit...

Get a Sarris Bones then you would not have to take the pedals off and drop the deraillieur .... or my other option is to take our estate car. But good effort on a day too windy to cycle.
 
Whatever else you do, don't expect that to work if you ever think of buying an E86M!

Nah I don't like that kind of bike rack; I'm getting a Seasucker rack anyway. I also have a Fiesta and a Dodge Durango too, so I have plenty of options if needed anyway.
 
I had to look up what a Dodge Durango was, seems pretty rare in UK. I then looked on carlogbook to see just how rare, to quote;

I don't think i've ever seen another one on the road, but the bloke I bought this off also had the Shelby version of it.

Just love a big american SUV. Makes all these silly little SUV's that we have on our roads look pathetic.
 
I've got a marshalling pal who uses one (a black/dark blue LPG-converted) of them to pull his huge caravan to remote rally venues - and his wife does about 60 bacon butties every morning for the other marshals.
 
Mines LPG too. As the wind has changed direction, it means its time to buy a new car or motorbike so this up for sale, plus I could probably do with the money for my wedding and it doesn't get used much.
