Bi-Xenon bulbs

I'm fairly new to these, so apologies if it is a daft question. :roll:

A week ago Ross sorted my leaking headlamp washer jet and when we were checking that it worked he noticed that I have 2 different colour bulbs fitted!

I know there are all sorts of options for Halogens, like Nightbreakers, etc. but is the same true for Bi-Xenons, only I'd like to fit a matching pair?

Any suggestions would be appreciated. :thumbsup:
 
You will need D2S bulbs for the xenons. Normally Osram and Phillips are the brands normally recommended. Normally recommended to change your bulbs in pairs, so that they will be matching.

I’ve used Osram Xenarc Nightbreakers on both my past Zeds which had Xenons and they worked a treat :thumbsup:

I had a quick search for Osram D2S Xenarc and can get a pair for less than £50, but the Nightbreaker version costs more like £150 a pair. :o

I don't mind paying more for a better product, but are they really that much better?
 
I thought so. Lets face it, within reason they last the life of the car ( depending on how much night driving you do, of course! ) They were like night and day when I changed the ones in the 911 for them. Pays yer money takes yer choice I guess :D by the way ABD £86.25 :thumbsup:
 
Buy the cheapest osram/philips, theres no point spending another £50-£100 for them fancy stuff. Most of the time the light bulbs are just old pretty burnt out so a fresh set will be an upgrade anyway.
 
Just a heads up about this. When I got my E86 I had the same issue, and after checking I found that the bulbs were indeed different. However, before I changed them I removed the projectors to give them a clean, and when I put everything back, the colour match between the two (different) bulbs were perfect.

I recommend these.
