During my headbanging over my ticking noise I did some research and found this product which seemed to get some great reviews (I was thinking injector problems)

http://www.powerenhancer.co.uk/product.php/226/bg-44k-injector-cleaner--fuel-system-cleaner-and-carbon-remover

Has anyone else used it? got an opinion? Or heard other opinions?

To be honest its a bit late to ask as its currently in my tank doing its thing :fuelfire:

Anyway it can be bought off of Ebay for around £20 in p&p so seems well worth a punt no?

If you're using UK fuel with a decent detergent package (Shell/Esso/BP/Tesco & probably most of the others) then you shouldn't need this!

But as you've already bought it, I'd like to offer you fuel system magnets, nitrogen tyre inflation, electric superchargers, and 50bhp resistor-tech rechips at very reasonable prices :P

Thing is the car is nearly 6 years old, who knows what fuel the past owners have used??

True, but you're trying to use an 'unproven' product to fix a problem that may not even exist.

Even the owner's guide says you shouldn't use any additives as you've no idea what's in it and therefore don't know what damage you can do to your fuel system/emissions/cat.

Yeah I did weigh all this up. With the potential injector problem I had (hence why I bought it) and then it turns out my CATS need replacing I figured there is nothing to lose only to gain. I checked with a couple of Indys and they said it wouldn't hurt and seeing as I had it probably worth giving it a go
