 , disclaimer: we are sure, the carwash people did not do that, but on our way back home this year in may, we stopped at a sainsbury in folkestone for some shopping, and within a minute and a few yards we found all the material to make up this little story

Haha, get the beatle before you car without them changing the water or cleanin pad... Then you wouldnt be far off!!

So true - I've watched one leather down a car with a chammy that looked like it had the contents of a small flowerbed embedded in it.

Should be called the clean and swirl service.

The only car wash I would ever allow my P&J through is one of those "contactless" ones (no brushes, nothing other than water/cleaner comes in contact with the car), which will safeguard against swirls, but also ensure that any wax, sealant or otherwise is fully stripped from your car, leaving it totally bare... :(

they do offer a contactless water/wax, but I#m not sold on how effective this is either

Took my 3er to one - it did a good job
