better suspension and tires???

So I live in Los Angeles and the roads are horrible here. I've heard that these run flat tires leave a lot to be desired for performance and comfort. I am curious if anyone here has tried out any different types of tires or loosening up the suspension to make for a softer ride.

Was wondering the same thing, noticed another post on the Falken 452's, not used them on this car but on prior 350z they were a great improvement, but can't really comment on these Z4's surely someone can help who has tried others.

you on standard OEM Bridgestone Runflats?

horrible tyre...

many change to non-runflats, or you could try Michelin's PS2 ZP if you want to stay with runflats - fantastic tyre.

What gannet said, Falken 452's are a great mid range tire for the Z4. A pretty good deal considering price vs performance. For the performance most will recommend Eagle F1's or Michelin PS2's. Granted these are all non-runflat so if you get a flat you either carry a spare or tire goop and an air compressor. A few people have tried the Michelin PS2 ZP's and I don't think anyone has a bad thing to say about them. I'm on the fence about getting them myself, but I love my regular PS2's.

For more info (more than you can imagine-including reviews) do a search on the forum for either tire or tyre (Queens English speak).

I don't of anyone that has tried to go with a softer suspension. Generally getting rid of those OEM runflats will help a bit.

Yes, I am on the bridgestone runflats and they are indeed very rough. Thanks for the tips on the tires. I think I will risk not using runflats for the nicer ride.

Have you guys ever tweaked with the suspension?

5 days after purchasing my zed, I've pulled off my run flat bridgestone, and bought dunlop wintersport m3, and pirelli p zero nero!
