Better rollover protection

Hello! I just bought my first Z4. It's an E85 with the 3.0. So far I love this car, but I'm really hoping to get it out on a racetrack soon, and I think I'm just a little to tall to pass the broomstick test. I need about 1 more inch of clearance. Does anyone know of anything to extend the hoops behind the driver/passenger? Or I was thinking it might be possible to add a little more height to the windshield by attaching something to the hooks the top connects to. Does anything like this exist?
 
Welcome to the forum, I would have thought it would be easier to customise the original seats or fit new seats.
 
Thanks everyone! I'll see if I can modify the original seat to get a little more space, I'm thinking perhaps a foamectomy. I'm trying to keep things as cheap as possible, so replacement seats are not an option right now (wife won't allow it). As for the Hardtop option, they do not count as roll protection on a track.
 
If it’s just trackdays, they don’t insist on rollover protection. The standard roll hoops would be fine as they are.
