Best way to get rid of green mould on roof?

A lot of people use the AG roof cleaner and sealant. You will need a soft brush to work it in and get all the crap out first. Best not to rub too hard, but just gently agitate all the crap out. Wash it down, find any more bits that need a bit more work and once its spot on, then consider sealing it. Its best to get absolutely everything off before sealing for obvious reasons.

When I had my e85 sealing the roof slowed the mould down a lot, but its a flexible surface so the sealant breaks down over time. I just cleaned it well once a year and sealed it up. Preferably before the wettest months. Thankfully I don't have to do anything to the current Z other than a wipe of the rubbers.
 
If it grows back, you need to kill the spores - before the normal hood treatments, try diluted Jeyes Fluid in a hand sprayer worked in with a soft nailbrush, it's not bleach-based and doesn't normally damage fabric (but try on a small area first). Only downside is that you may have to put up with the smell for a few days until it dissipates
 
I used a biological soap powder (non-bleach) - damp the roof, gently work it in then rinse thoroughly. Never had an issue with mouldy roof since.

I had green mould issue when i first bought the zed. My car is also kept out doors all year round so I use AG roof cleaner and sealant once a year. I also give it a spray of Nanolex Convertible Top Sealent and have never had a problem since.
