Best way to flush oil out of coolant

Hi all I have oil in the coolant from oil cooler gasket failure now sorted , I have tried flushing it added solution then ran it for 30 mins then flushed it with distilled water then put in antifreeze, it now seems to have more oil than before flowing around as the solution has dislodged it , any recommendations I’m thing to flush it again stick a hose pipe on it then flush with distilled then antifreeze or is there a better way to do it , help please !

I am going to assume you have an N52 engine from your signature.

Drain as before then refill with water (no need for distilled for the brief time it will be in there) and a flush/cleaner. I used Holts speedflush and it seemed to work quite well.
Then connect to a power supply/smart charger and run the water pump bleed procedure for a full cycle, ideally two.
I then drained the cooling system again and refilled with water. Then ran the pump for a cycle again.
Then did it again! Just to be sure the flush was purged.

Then refill with correct coolant (G48 or BMW, the concentrate is able to be mixed with plain tap water unless you're in a very hard area) and bleed.

Hi
Sorry yes n52 I did connect to a charger , I did it a couple of times basically as you said there I used a recommend tin that had good reviews, just seems to have swilled some out and now a lot of loosened oil is floating around, just been worried there is something worse going on , having looked now some people flush it 4/5 times and drive it with the flush in for a few days and do a final flush and fill ! I am going to take it in the next week or so to be checked over in case there is a ongoing leak in to the coolant , thanks for your response

I would drain and fill again before taking it in to see if you can resolve it yourself.
