Planning on doing a muffler delete this week on my 3.0SI coupe.
as i have seen from various clips and threads the results vary and i think it's due to the piping diameters used.
my plan is :
1) right after the middle cats to add a Y pipe into a single 2.5"
2) at the back end another Y splitter for dual tips.
the thought behind this is to eliminate the possibility of building a "horn" for the exhaust note and building some small amount of back pressure to compensate for the lost muffler.
what do you think ? any other ideas ?
