Best way/place to wire in a GPS?

I have a GPS speed camera locator that I would like to wire in to a source that's only live when the ignition is on, anyone already done this and found a good power source and way to route the wires?

I'd like to put it at the bottom of the A post on the drivers side but would accept having it in the same postion but on the passenger side.
