best venue for novice track day

hi all i'm located near bournemouth on the south coast and would like to experience a track day in the zed, but being a novice on the track where would be the best venue. Looking on the web there are 4 sites relativley close to me being
Goodwood - Thruxton - Colerne and Keevil

has anyone had any experience of these ccts and are there any others that may fit my requirements?
 
No where near you, but if you're up this way, croft is pretty good for beginners. The BMW club run a good event there each year :thumbsup:
 
Come to Bedford on 11th April with us, see the meets section for details. Best venue for beginners other than an open airfield!
 
unfortunatley cant do the 11th i remember that there was another one later in the year but the link isnt working does anyone know when it is?
 
Bedford definitely, big open airfield with nothing major to hit.

Thruxton don't do track days I don't think, only experience days and driver training? May be wrong though. I was in Bournemouth when I first did Bedford and its not a huge trip, doable in a day....though maybe get a hotel the night before so you aren't driving for several hours before going on track.
 
i see that they have a novice day at bedford on good friday 22 april for £169 is anyone going on that day?
