Best tires for an '06?

I'm buying an '06 and need new tires?
Any recommendations on what the best
I should buy?

Vredestein Ultrac Vortis are a popular choice here.
I've literally just ordered a set for my 108's at under Eur400. Get in!

As mentioned Vreds are a good tyre on the E85 & 86. MPSS are also very popular if you can get them.

Michelin Ps4 seem to be the best out there currently if your budget stretches that far.

Just put Michelin PS4 on mine and have to say it's the best tyre I've ever driven on. Just put Goodyear Eagle F1 assymetric 3 on the wife's 120d and they run a very close second but just not as good in the wet as the PS4.
Spent some money on tyres this month BUT. The only thing between you and the tarmac so buy the best you can afford.
