Best Run Flat Tyres

I've read through numerous threads advising changing from run flats to standard tyres here.

If the car was solely used my myself then I wouldn't hesitate to change to Non-RFTs as I find the tram lining and ride harsh currently.

However, as our E85 is my wife's daily drive I like the fact that should the car get a puncture she can get home or at least off the motorway with the run flats.

I've checked on Black Circles but there are huge number of tyres all within a similar price range.

Can anyone advise on the best tyres to go for in terms of ride quality and obviously price.

Tyre size is 225/45/R17 front and rear.
