Best route to Poland

Hi all. I am driving to Poland on Monday the 18th. Google maps has shown three possible routes. Which one is best? My cousin has done the drive once before and he took the top route passing Berlin and was quite happy with it. Any reasons to chose one of the other two?

Speed limits and congestion is the reason I would not take the lower route. The blue one goes through the Rhur which is industrialised with lots of speed limits. I took a slightly higher one as there were no speed restrictions and less traffic.

i was unaware there was a route to poland, i thought it was just poland to UK - no return

Just go to your local Lidl or Aldi instead....Its much closer and you'll think you ARE in Poland !! :tumbleweed:

You dont need a route to poland, all German cars have a default setting that takes you directly there :tumbleweed:

I drove along the E40 of which a lot of it is unrestricted, never got held up once.

I might take this route on the way back. For now I have decided on the top route.

Where exactly to Poland are you going? If somewhere south than the route through wroclaw is the best one.
I've been to uk for a few times, but can't imagine how your lidl's would remind my country ;-)
