Try www.blackcircles.com but that seems a good price you already have. Is it inclusive of vat?

price at black circles around £50 more

Add up some F1 Asymmetrics too.

The FK452, as good 'value' as they are, are about 7mm thinner across the tread blocks than the F1's, and 5mm of that is also in the rim protection... ie, the FK452's have as good as zero protection. A simple tyre rub on a curb would be all it took to offset the cost of fk452's with the F1 Asymmetrics in recon cost. Just something to consider!

Just throwing that in there. I'll be getting F1's next I think...

thanks for the advice, just checked them out but at £511 a bit pricey

Plus if you're careful, you don't need to worry about rim protection! (On your tyres that is!)

Have you gotas price for fitting yet?

To be honest I went direct to the dealer I wanted to use and paid £425 fitted as I knew they would take good care of my wheels, could have got for £400 all in via Black Circles (from memory) but from a garage I had never used before.

Not worth the risk IMO.

i have used a local idependent before for putting on tyres brought online.
they charge around £5-£8 per wheel balanced and fittted

I went back to dealer as my rears needing cnaging contisport. The best price was £178 per tyre. my dealer matched it with 181 fitted.

Also, getting tyres to the fitters is hard work, so when you get a huge pile of tyres delivered you will need a big car to follow you to the fitters :)

Rim protection isn't needed if you drive well, I've not needed it thus far, hehe, but I still think it's a bit poor that they are thinner tyres and have no rim protection.

Good luck with them though. Certainly not a bad tyre and I've had good wear rate and wear pattern so far with mine :)

I've got a price of £380 all balanced and fitted from a local dealer. Seems the best option for me. The extra £38 over Camskill's price would be taken up by fitting, and I don't need to worry about getting them sent.

£342 is cheaper than I paid for the same tyres from camskill (I think) in January this year - I paid £350 delivered, then £50 to my trusted mobile tyre fitter. In fact, I'd recommend looking for a mobile tyre fitter: mine comes to the house, changes the tyres over, balances them, then disposes of the old ones.

But as a lot of folk say, if you've got a decent garage nearby ask them to price match. Asking doesn't hurt. It was only after I'd bought my tyres that my fitter guy says he also supplies tyres and would beat online prices...
