Best place for a service in/around Edinburgh

So my 3.0i E85 needs a service soon. Ive heard that Deutsche Marque in Dalkeith are good, but Ive only been in twice and both times the sales guys were pretty rude. Anyone got any recomendations? Thanks
 
I've unfortunately got no experience of garages around Edinburgh - I use my father-in-law's mate's garage in Dunfermline but it's nothing special.

I've guess you'll get a good response posting the same query in the Scottish sub-forum on Pistonheads, although might not be BMW-specific specialist.
 
Thanks for the heads up guys. Yeah, I have a local garage that I really trust, is just round the corner and have good attention to detail. I think Im just gonna take it there. The last two services were done at a non BMW place and I suspect that if I were to take it to a kosher BMW garage or Indy I wouldnt get any more money on selling and would have to fork out a load more too. Is there anything that folk suggest a garage take a look at when taking it to a non BMW place?
