Been using megs tyre product, but both my previous cars were black,so I didnt notice the fling, now I have a silver car & no matter how sparingly I apply it I still get black spots on the arches after the first few drives.
So what do you guys recomend?
Also while im here, whats the best prouct for restoring exterior black trim.

I used Chemical Guys New Look Trim Gel, the bottle is going to last for years I suspect because the first application has lasted for weeks, and still good. No fling that I can see, and also good for other exterior plastics.

I use Meg's, I tend to allow it to dry off for a bit then wipe off any excess with a cloth, not had a problem so far

Love that two tone black and red interior

You need to allow the meguiars gel to dry properly, I suggest a few hours.

I get the same, but only because i'm impatient and like driving around in a clean car.

Will try & leave it overnight or longer then,im like you Ben,must go for a drive once the car is clean & looking good, even if it is just a quick one along the beach.

I use AG Tyre Shine, leave it for a while and it lasts a good few days......

Same as Stark above, although on older tyres! Once dry, it hasn't transferred to the bodywork as yet.

Not a fan of gels or any wipe on type shines.

Tescos non foam aerosol tyre shine does the job for 2 quid for a large can.

Incredible shine from your Z3 rims Tim!

+1 — if I didn't know better I'd say that photo has been shopped. Gorgeous

Thankyou, I do love these rims on the Z3, bargain at 400 quid new,

As opposed the ACS rims which were 2K :o Zed never really drove as nice on these,

This has always been a big frustration for me as I love tyre dressing because I think it finishes a car off so well in terms of presentation but I haven't experienced one that doesn't either spread all over the bodywork as soon as you drive off or turns the wheels black after a few days, I would have thought someone would have come up with a product that doesn't have these flaws by now.

If someone knows of a product that hits the spot I would love to know
