You call that modified... all you've done is add 4 cylinders and another bank to the engine! :P

But seriously, that's epic! well done mate...

I have a build thread here somewhere but no pics cause of photo bucket. I could post up some from the build to let members see what’s involved?

Mine was cosmetically modded to make the OEM car look as good as I thought it could. Was pretty early on, there wasnt a huge amount of cosmetically different cars at the time the one that comes to mind was dubsesd car and his was in the states, took my inspiration from him

I didnt want to go too far with it. I went though quite a few looks before it got to they way it was, link to my Z thread at the bottom.

Cosmetic and couple of mechanical mods:
H&R springs, RPI air ram kit & skid plates, upgraded rear disc and pads, tinted windows, carbon fibre rear spoiler, strut brace, painted grills gloss black, BMW badge under the bonnet, OEM CSLs and Ceramic BMW wheel roundels, painted the calipers orange, stubby aerial

Mods I had planned: Aero sills, Groupe M induction and have the roof sprayed black but sold it before I managed to do so.

The next owner then wrote it off within a couple of weeks

Bare in mind I was 23 and the car was only 4 years old and still in its warranty so didnt want to go too crazy! Think it ended up pretty dam good.

It has nothing on what some other guys have done now with engine swaps and incredible mechanical feets, but it was a lot of fun and got lots of attention

:? feels a lifetime ago.

Mr.wilks and i had the same conversation most mods are personal and are to personal taste and budget, but then again it is a forum and credit and abuse will always go hand in hand.

sal

my car is slightly modified

Not a fan of the stripes but the rest looks amazing! Love the shape of the steering wheel looks very purposeful

Was going to say Mac27040! But I guess I’m biased as mines a Titan Silver SMG too!

Also quite like Beedub’s ride.

I bet the Insurance Companies are loving this thread... :tumbleweed:

Mines is all declared and on my trade policy, I pay £4000 a year for the facility :( . This covers everything I own and they were happy to put a value of 60k on the V10 :)
