I just hate the sat nav, just looks like it was added randomly.

I dont suppose there is much more they could do with it mind.

I like that apart from the rear lights and boot look a bit odd to me. Oh and the sat nav/multimedia display looks out of place like a tablet has just been stuck to the dash using phone mount or something, rather than having much thought going into it and moulding the dash to fit it.

All than lovely flame surfacing, inspired by Mr Bangle.

No gear stick. Would look far better to me if it had one.

If there were no Merc badges, I'd assume it was a Kia/Hyundai.

Lovely interior but THAT nav screen! :headbang:

My thoughts for the last 18 months , for me they have taken what was a well styled & balanced front end ( 58/62 plate C & E class) & let some drunken retard scribble over the blueprints & heyho the new MB range  they look woeful imo & its no doubt a big relief to anyone selling these pacific rim look-a-likes that the interiors do look nice otherwise they would be struggling to shift any at all :?

In fact the new Kia looks way better than the new A class

If only it went like the Aclass.. the AMG at least.. howwwwwever. I recently had a go in an AMG with the carbon pack etc, external splitters everywhere. I'm not a hatchback man at all, but if I was, I'd have one, it was phenonenally quick, handled like a dream, The only thing I hated was as above.. THAT satnav.. :headbang: I hope someone was fired.

Earlier in the year we went car shopping for the wife, to replace her fiesta.

I wanted the new A, drover brilliantly and felt better then the golf. Not sure what happened but ended up with an SLK! We are planning on starting a family next year too :o

Even test drove the CLA as i was tempted by it to replace my company 1er next year. Personally i think the CLA looks better then the C.

I like the new mercs - much more then what they used to be. Still prefer the equivalent BMW's though but i guess they all have upped their game recently... Especially with the likes of Jags targeting new clientele and not traditional over 50's.

Jag is trying hard to lose the old man tag with the F Type and doing ok.....but for as long as we keep calling it a Jag, it's an old man car. Jaguar doesn't roll off naturally.....

It's like us BMW folk using the word Beemer......

The new XE which looks stunning compared to the rest of the sector, will continue the brand evolution:

CJ I knew you had one and sent it back, but I really don't think Jaguar is the car they are wanting it to be. The brand evolution is amazing but it still won't attract BMW or Audi people......

I have an XF 3.0s and replaced my X5 with it and cannot think of any current BMW saloon I would swap it out for. Totally sold on it and so individual compared to the current big 3's offerings.

Gratuitous picture of my old XF :)

Did you change it for a new one CJ?

No. After the initial issues when I returned the original, I sourced this one from a different dealership and have kept it since.

I let others take the initial depreciation on this car :)
