Best independent Bracknell / Berkshire

Lot of the work I will do myself, but if I need lights reset or code work done..or something that requires a tool made from purest unobtanium.. Who is the place to be at.. Thanks?

What about BM service in Binfield anyone used them??, I could near walk home from them, Camberly would involve me having to take a taxi or something worse..
.like a bus ukk.

Howdy. I live in Binfield and have used BM Autos once for gearbox fluid change. He seemed OK, but for other work, his quotes were ridiculous.

I have been using BMS Surrey (hour drive away) for bushes/service/starter motor replacement etc. It's a way away, but worth it, as they are competitive and do a great job.

I have heard great things about TWG Automotive too.

Whereabouts do you live / what do you drive?

I live near the town center in one of the flats behind the little waitrose. Since the wife threw me out, means I always have a microwave dinner within walking distance. Got a 2004 z4 3.0...it's my compromise car as I sold my KTM duke and estate car I figure a Z 4 hits the middle ground.

I have used Berkshire Motor Works in Wokingham near Nirvana Spa.
Steve was receommended to me by Cooper BMW for my E30 and also used him for E85 and E89
Steve used to be chief mechanic at Cooper's in Reading until he opened the garage. and I have nothing but praise.

One point to note, I was last in there in February and i know he had health issues. You can give him a call, hopefully all will be well. I have absolutely no hesitation on recommending him.

Another vote for TWG Automotive in Camberley - they look after both my BMWs. Will is very knowledgeable and helpful (also ex-Sytner FWIW)!

They have a Mini Cooper as a courtesy car (£15 a day IIRC) or for something simple (like my air-con re-gas) will book a while you wait job - I just wandered round the corner and had a leisurely coffee! They also cleared my airbag light while they had the OBD plugged in - it seems the driver seat pre-tensioner threw a fault just once, but once triggered those lights don't go out until reset!

Twg sounds like the place , fortunately I don't need a courtesy car as I have the Z4 purely as a toy , company motor with a fuel card takes the actual strain of day to day yaaaaay for fuel cards and jerry cans :D
