Best hub caps, please?

If you mean centre caps, then eBay cheapos all the way. I bought a set in Jan 21 for about a fiver and they are better quality than the OEM crap any day. :)

I've also bought a couple of cheap sets for about £5 on Ebay and they've been fine.

In any case at that price if they start to fade replacing them won't break the bank!

I never thought I would be typing this publicly, but since you asked…

I buy the £5 ebay centre caps, but I find the plastic inserts don’t fit the wheel as well as the OEM.

The solution:

Remove the metal logos from both the ebay and the OEM, and transfer the shiny new ebay ones to the OEM plastic inserts.
Clip them in and refit.

To extract the existing I use a suction pad.

I read they were originally designed for the RR Phantom

I’ve lost two floating caps in two years, there is a BMW dealership in Newcastle that sells them singularly thankfully.

N4LLY supplies spares for free. The grey plastic backed floaters (Oww err) replased with black plastic ones, so much better,.
Lost one due to a pot hole, ordered a new set and they sent 2 :D

I bought set off Etsy site. £10
Not the rubbish tin plate type but solid plastic cover like a boot or bonnet badge. After at least a year or more still like new.

Thank you all.

(Like most people's, I suppose, the edges of mine have been gouged by tyre monkeys levering them off. It's a pity BMW don't copy Porsche, put two holes in each face and provide a piece of bent wire to pull them off.)

I wait for them to remove wheel, then i knock them out from the inside before they work on them.
More likely i take the wheel in loose with cap removed.
