me too. seems to be a cat mat salesman

no.. i am not a salesman.. actually i owned a used z4 car that i bought from my friend but the car mats were not included on the package so i bought one set on yourcarparts sorry for that misinterpretation i was just trying to help :)
In that case I apologise

Just thought it was a bit random that the earliest posts of a new UK user were to recommend (to UK members) a UK-based parts website and then a US based 'tire' website, and the writing style of the posts changed from the initial welcome/introduction ones.

Well, I've jumped in and bought the ones in my link in grey. Fingers crossed they're ok!

who taught you to talk English?? :fuelfire:
Don't be cruel.

Although that was part of what I meant when I said the initial writing style had changed, i.e. from 'average' English (bad punctuation, grammar, syntax) to spammer English (worse punctuation, grammar, syntax, wrong words/context, etc.).

But then thought better of it, as some people just have difficulty with writing. I've got a couple of disabled cousins who write completely differently to how they say things, and spell everything the way it sounds (to them) along with missing out articles, pronouns, etc. So they will sometimes say for example "Joanne is taking me to the pictures tonight to see a film." and on facebook they'll write "Joenn taken piktuz to see fm" - and it's not a matter of being lazy, they just don't understand the difference between what they're saying and what they're writing.

I'm considering these mats on ebay:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/130832974263?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

They are genuine BMW all wather mats £47.10 delivered from what I think is a BMW dealer.

They are rubber though, I know it doesn't look as good but I find rubber mats easier to clean and more robust. I think the drivers side also has a carpet section in it.

I haven't purchased yet, but probably will soon. I'm trying to ration myself as i've only had the zed a few days and keep buying things for it, when I should be putting the money into my new bathroom and re-doing my garden!

Hope this helps.

Dan

Actually i'm not sure if they have carpet sections. I think that may have been some others I was looking at...

The genuine BMW rubber mats do have a carpet section. The other thing is that I managed to drill through it with my shoe heel in about three months...

That was some good going - must have been the stiletto's!

My OEM rubber with carpet heelpad ones have only just been replaced after 4 years and 70k miles.
