Best floor mats for early 2003 grey interior?

Hi everyone

Any opinions as to the best options out there for floor mats for the early grey interior (red leather)?

It's clear that the mats that are coming with my car are ancient and aftermarket cheapie jobs so I'm after restoring the premium feel by getting something decent.

I know I can blow £70-80 at BMW for some genuine grey ones but are there any better options ?

Thanks

Purchased some just like these a year ago. Good value, fit perfectly in the footwells (unlike some of the cheap mats you see for sale) and after 12 months use are showing no significant signs of wear.

Select platinum matts, u can choose different colour piping in leather and have any logo stiched in....i suggest Z4 lol

Dealt with these guys (or at least I tried) recently and it had to be the worst customer service I've experienced in years. Craig kept stalling and giving me the run-around, never delivering with what he'd promissed. I would personally never recommend them

I have the same interior, and got red ones for summer, and use original BMW black ones in winter, the red looks good with the red leather seats.

After two months of exchanging emails, waiting and waiting for answers and a quote (for my LHD car) that never arrived, no.

Mugs

Why do I get a strange feeling that you have some sort of relation to this seller?

My comments were about their customer service, not their mats. So please stop "mugging" his thread

any pics? I did wonder about Red but wasnt sure if it would look ok?

Sorry, no pics I'm so IT dumb, I've never posted any pics of my very beautiful 21,000 mile 2003 Sterling Grey SMG 2.5 with all its very subtle mods on here since 2009

I got some nice really bright red mats off EBay the same colour as the Dream Red leather, and they look the dogs, I think mainly because there is already too much grey in there, it's not like Red overkill. The black (Winter) mats look horrible by comparison, but save the red ones in the crap weather. Grey mats would look better than black, but so much grey-on-grey is boring IMHO. I wish I could afford to retrim the interior in carbon leather, I hate the scratchy grey plastic dash top and always dirty-looking brushed aluminium.

Awww pity re the pics - pop me a pm if you want my email address to send one across!

Carbon leather is nice, my car has the extended leather so is a bit less scratchy but the centre console still needs some 'help'!

Anyone got any opinions as to the best option out of the genuine BMW grey mats vs these in 'ultimate' http://yourcarparts.co.uk/product/BMW-Z4-Car-Mats-1556_1UNI.html
