My favourite was my Datsun 240Z when I was 18, i had just moved up from a 1968 MG Midget, the best is my ///M, eclipses my old 911 ten fold!!
Had five cars myself a renault clio 1.2, mini cooper, bmw 320si, currently own Mini cooper S and now the Z4Mc so that my favourite.
But I love the MCS and Z4Mc combo, both fast and look great!
Although my dads a car mad man which is where I get it from and my favourites from his are an e46 M3 with CSLs looked gorgeous, an E92 M3 which was just a mean machine and his Porsche CS which I aspire too. Been quite lucky with cars I suppose.
With many more to come I hope!

1971 Dodge Challenger in the early 80's,very cool until you wanted to stop as it had drum brakes all round 
1981 BMW 323i in the mid 80's,great until you wanted to go round corners !
1999 MR2 at the start of the millenium,pirroueted like a ballerina on speed every time it rained.
2010 Z4 just does everything i could ever ask of it.

1971 MG Midget is my favourite so far but mainly because i lived in her for 3 months travelling around europe so some amazing memories.
Best was probably either one of my last 2 e46 3 series convertibles, as much as i love the zed my fear that i should have kept the e46 past 3 years has been sadly realised, hate that i feel that way

I've only owned 6 cars so far and have enjoyed them all to an extent but I can put them in order for you:
07 BMW E86 Z4 Coupe - Only had it 3 weeks but love it!
88 BMW E24 635Csi - Loved this car but it needed so much work..
92 Volkswagen Scirocco 16v converted - Love this car but all the mods make it hard to live with
05 Mitsubishi Colt Mirage - Nippy little thing, drove perfectly and looked unique just not special enough
94 Nissan Micra 1.0 - My first car, had it 4 years, did me proud but I hated it when I had it
96 BMW E36 320i SE Saloon - Was perfectly fine but far too boring and drank fuel!

Best is definitely the Z4C.
Favourite is the Zed as 5 years of ownership I never tire of it for one moment. Looks driving, pleasure.
Best car - well depends on criteria, but my former X5 probably takes that. Fast, luxurious, groundbreaking design when launched, powerful tow car and served the family well for 10 years and 100,000m without fault. That takes some beating
