Hi guys,

I'm looking for ECU Chipset, I found couple of them called ESS Or AA and many others.

Just not so sure about my local guy, he said I could gain 37Hp 40ft torque with just ECU upgrade with Autologic.us stuff.

Do you think it make sence?

Or Please let me know, if you have any recommandation.

Thanks

Terrence.

On an ///M, you'll be lucky to get 10bhp & 10lb/ft from just a chip.

If they're claiming almost 40bhp & 40lb/ft then run a mile as they're talking out of their arses.

Seconded ;)

lol. Only time you'll ever get 40brake is on a big engne Diesel. The old Dears V10 Touareg gained 37brake and 70ft/lb iirc

ESS's software is the way to go. It is the only software that is adaptive to future mods (within reason), and even with a stock car there is a noticeable increase in throttle response and a little more power.

Personally I like the ESS software paired with RPI's intake scoop and a well-designed exhaust.

I Remapped my Z4 around 6 months ago, the car is more responsive, getting around 39mpg combined from a 2.5, & the car is so much better to drive, even tho my Mrs didn't even no I was gonna do it, that was funny

Only a turboed car will see good gains from a remap, generally through a raise in boost pressure (on an otherwise stock car anyway, less boost needed if its made to breath better).
