Best Christmas present ever!!!

Is this kind of thing "fun" for the people who do it?
Do they go home and giggle themselves to sleep thinking about the damage they've done?
Or is it more a lashing out at the world because they believe they're not getting a fair shake?

There's something fundamentally wrong with it either way, with emphasis on "mentally."
 
It's all about jealousy and frustration at their progress in life, a way of lashing out and causing hassle/anger to people they see as more fortunate than them. All of which is of course totally f***** up.

I hope you get the damage repaired as painlessly as possible. I suspect someone has keyed my rear wing because I have two scratches on it that I cannot explain. Mine may well polish out, otherwise it's a trip to my local BMW dealer bodyshop.
 
Stevenage is about 50 miles north of london skinner , i think it was 400 it might have been 600 but i was still pleased with the cost and yes it was front wing , door and rear wing
 
Im very sorry to hear this , it does kind of make you paranoid , many years ago when I bought my first newish/nice (1 year old escort xr3i) car someone keyed drivers door wing and bonnet cant rememember exact cost but think it was around £200 which was quite a lot of money then , this occurred whilst I was in the pictures and even today if Im going out at night in town I get taxis in part so I can have a drink but mainly because I dont want to worry about the car beause its not just cost its the stress.
I guess its very sad reflection on society

There are some very sad and frustrated souls out there who, for whatever reason, cannot stand to see someone else enjoy something they don't have the gumption to work towards.

been to BMW today, getting an estimate tomorrow. My excess is £350 :( and i think roughly its going to cost £600, will find out, think i will need to go through the insurance to get it done which i'm sure will do wonders for my insurance premium next year. i'm already paying about £550 for the year. Might see what good deals can get through the forums because i think im paying too much as it is. No points, 31 years old and 14 years NCB.
 
Try one of the PDR places like Dingmaster. If they know its not insurance you'd be amazed at how much the prices come down.

i have a couple of m8s that have spray shops... but if its not done right, i can't exactly say to them it needs redone lol

Get some pics up... Some of it may polish out.... Alternative if not a rough cut a chips away jobbie could make it virtually invisible for a fraction of the cost.

Yea im considering trying a touch up job myself first with some touch up paint etc.. lol, i will definitely get it sprayed just a question of when, quite skint atm. :)

Yo man, yea reported it as soon as it was spotted. Nothing else done in the area. my neighbors have cctv so trying to see who comes in and out of the street between the hours it happened. Not the best :(
 
i will get some pics up tomorrow when its light, Whats really a bit amusing.. i was showing my m8 the scratches today, i pointed to it then said "take a guess how much bmw want to repair it?" Then a big seagull crap splatted right on the door and nearly covered us in poop. Apparently its luck... i don't believe so, i think they are taking the biscuit! lol :)
