Best BMW service centre in SE Wales or Bristol

Hi all,

I have an Inspection (I or II I'm not sure) due in 2400 miles. My car has a year left on the AUC warranty so it seems I have to use an authorised BMW place to have the service done. I've heard equally bad things about Sytner Newport and Dick Lovett in Bristol. Any suggestions who I shoudl go for? Are there other options? If not, which is the lesser of the two evils?

I have used Synter Cardiff on 3 occasions in the last 3 years. Happy with the level of service on the first 2 (both interval services for oil and brake fluid).

I did have issues on my last visit where they failed to identify an ignition fault when the symptoms were abundantly clear (though in fairness, they did take my car back in the following day free of charge where they found 2 failed coil packs).

Overall, I would recommend as a main dealer. A bit pricey but probably comparable to other main dealers.

Cheers

Matt

I used Synter Newport for the first three years as had the car on a lease- not that helpful despite the amount of suits and "free" coffee. Used Cardiff once for rear springs and they still did the usual "we need to do the diagnostic" scam to tell me the rear springs needed replacing. Not much to choose between them so go with the one nearest to your house
