So the prosecution in his bribery case have accepted a payment of £60 million in return for dropping all charges against him.
In other words he has bribed his way out of being done for bribery. What an absolute joke! :x

Great minds and all that... http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=68630

This is boiling my piss right now & I was just about to post the same thing, so what next, someone rich gets to buy their way out of Yewtree charges?

You & I wouldn't get away with this, so why should someone who is mega rich be able to :x

He should be tried in the courts like anyone else, if he's guilty then he should go down for it.

Ahh sorry for stealing your thunder
Nah, wasn't that - I thought it was quite funny that we made almost identical posts a couple of minutes apart

Yep I was listning to this on the Radio, on the way home from work, just now. What a total mockery.

Different countries, different laws - seems like there is clear precedent in Germany for such cases and according to BBC news website the money is distributed 1% (wow) to children's charity and 99% to Bavarian State coffers so the (local) German tax payer is the winner really ! More money to spend on those fine Bavarian roads. Couldn't see this happening in UK mind.
