Is this a mad idea?

on a z4??? Stud pattern is fine at 5x120 and with an ET61 offset Im guessing I will need around 15mm worth of spacers with longer bolts?

Stupid? Or....? Thoughts!

I really hate the MV2's I have right now. need a wheel change. The other option I am considering now is Style 92's from a 6 series which I think look great. ( have seen it done on another forum member car)

Its actually a strong preference of mine right now, I love the style 92s on a z4 and think they suit the lines of the z4 which is difficlut to find.

BUT...came across the bentley wheels and cant help but wonder!! silly money for wheels and its a bit of a nuts idea I know... just gauging thoughts and opinion I guess!
 
Unless they are bastardised the Bentley alloys should be 5 x 112 not 5 x 120 , you would need converters of some sort which would help with the spacers required
 
I thought that might be the case as well so looked into it. It appears that Bentley generally use 5x112 but the Arnage had 5x120 wheels as standard so its possible that the description might actually be correct!

I guess so , they're often put onto VAG cars which are 5x 112 although VW transporters are 5 x 120 :?
Would be so much easier if they all had same bore & pcd
 
I know. always creates a headache when manufacturers go with different specs.

Many moons ago I used to work for euro car parts at their head office in wembley, most times if a customer would come in for a part there might be two or three options and you could narrow it down by the chassis number. The exception to this was usually french cars.

The worst culprit? I once had a customer come in for a power steering pump on a citroen xantia (shudder... f*cking horrible cars...) The computer threw up NINE different options and even with the chassis number there was no way to tell which one was correct. bloody madness. In the end the customer had to bring in his original pump and we compared them all physically to find the right one. pain in the ass!!!!
 
Those style 92's require stretched tyres to fit correctly.

I've had stretched tyres and it compromised the handling and driveability of my Z4. I'd never do it again.
