Hi All,

Just to introduce myself:
I'm Frank, 26 years old, and I live in a city called Lommel in Belgium.
Since december 2009 I'm the owner of a 2003 3.0i Z4. My previous car was a 118d with M-sports package. I was very pleased with the 1 series but this Z4 was a real bargain that I couldn't resist. Even though the Z4 isn't practical and more expensive in taxes & fuel costs, I just thought: "screw it all, I'm buying this toy!"
It still had the original tyres, they even had some decent profile left!
It was clear this car wasn't being used to it's full potential at all!! (I know it's a cliche but this car was in fact owned by a 60-year old lady, I know her well :) )
Haven't had any regrets so far 8)

Some specs:
2003 BMW Z4 3.0i A
milage was only 39.000kms when I bought it
Sterling Grau
black leather seats, electric with memory
High-end Audio system
Navigation
17" alloys....

And some pics :D

I am a bit disappointed about the seats though, I really miss the sport seats I used to have in my 1 series, sometimes my back is really killing me in the Z4 when I'm driving it for over 2 hours.
But in every other aspect this car is an absolute dream!!!!

Some modifications I'm thinking about:
removing some foam from the sound generator
white side- and rear-indicators (still having doubts)
19" BBS Le Mans / or 18" OEM wheels for the summer.
I will also replace the commercial license plate holder at the rear by a clean one.

that's it, I hope to find some more info here on this forum 8)

Kind regards!

thanks guys...
well I wouldn't say it's been pampered, it's hardly been used at all 8)
however the zed does have some swirls in the paint. some people really shoul learn to use the proper tools for cleaning their cars. :(

I've already made an appointment with a good detailer, so that will be solved

Hi and welcome to the forum, another easy mod to do if you have'nt already got it is cruise control as your zed is prewired so you just need the switch and also the cutout on the lower steering column cowl is pretty easy.Enjoy

Welcome to you. I will be in Ypres this spring with my Z. A mate and me are doing the WW1 battlefields and cemeteries. We like the town because you can eat and drink in Ypres Square without getting your head kicked in.

Englanders heten u welkom!

On trips to Holland I always remember this sign
