Here we go again - are we all sitting comfortably ?

Don't you love Kimi - for a man of few words ( other than " Don't talk to me when I'm driving " and " I'm going for a s**t " ) he has a tremendous following and is loved at Spa - he actually smiled on his rare interview :D Love to see him on the podium !
 
Standard Lewis predictable and deserved win.
Nico confirmed as de facto second driver as Lewis marches on

Mixed tyres on Bottas - oops..
Blowout on Vettel - that'll lead to some questions as to leaving him out that long
..
 
It says a lot when on a car site, f1 gets 3 comments. That's how bad the racing has become, predicable and processional :thumbsdown:
 
If I ever get to see a race, I like the Spa track. Especially if it rains! The racing was better for the mid places.
 
Roll on Monza, in 2 weeks time I'll be there watching from the grandstands, and whilst I'm excited for my first live F1 race, I'm quite a bit more excited for the drive down to Italy in the Z4 :driving:
 
I was there, and was a great weekend. Lovely weather.

F1 was good, but fairly boring as Spa races go. The GP2 & GP3 before it were great to watch. Lots of carnage!
 
Apart from the start it never looked as though there'd be anything to stop the two Mercedes taking off into the distance, the midfield was much more interesting and that overtake by Max Verstappen around the outside at Blanchimont was stunning

Grosjean's hunting down of Vettel also made for good viewing and it's a pity it ended the way it did. I wonder who's going to catch the heat for Vettel's tyre disintegrating - from the comments regarding expected tyre life, Ferrari were obviously trying to take the tyre a few laps past its expected lifespan but who made the call...

Ferry from Harwich to Hook Holland this Saturday, then plenty of stopping off in Europe along the way, driving down into Germany, crossing the Alps in Austria - Stelvio Pass! then down to Monza for Thursday, cant wait!

There's 14 of us going with a mix of cars (mostly convertible and BMW) 2 Z4s (E85s), and 2 M3s (E36+E46) an E46 330, an MX5 and the single non convertible, a Seat Leon FR, never done a road trip like this before and the fact it is ending at my first live GP race makes it even sweeter!
 
We need a thred for this - have a great time - Monza Roadtrip - Stelvio is brilliant if anything I preferred the way down
