Well tomorrow (Sunday 16th) me and the wifey are setting off to head to belgium for the formula 1,
Setting off around 9am ish to make our way to falkestones which we are staying over in a premier to catch the euro tunnel bright and early on Monday 17th.
So today I finished working with in mind to give the car a good overhaul before we set off..... Because of course the zed has to be the best there spent a couple of hours on it....not sure how clean it will be when we arrive across the other side of the channel.
I will try my very best to keep this updated throughout my travels and catch some great photos.
Sorry for the delay but i have finally getting round to sorting out my photos from the Belgium road trip. Getting off the euro tunnel our next stop was bruges which was around 2hour drive. Weather was good but we didn’t have any roof down moments with travelling on the motorway.
Our hotel was the martins hotel of bruges it was a 3star hotel right in the town centre just off the market place leading to the final destination was little cobbled one way streets which i sure i drove the down one the wrong way but i was pretty pleased with hotels basement parking lot even if it was 25euros every 24hrs.

We spent 3days in bruges visiting the chocolate museum, walking down the river and checking out the very many church and cathedrals they have.

Whist walking round the streets i came across this M5 in a Disney wrap..... did think it was a waste but the more i looked at it the more i thought it was kinda cool....brave but cool.

We also came across this shop thats open all year round Hannah seen it and insisted we must go in.

Heres a few more of the sites

After our 3days when then we travelled to tongeren another 2 and abit hours south from bruges our next hotel was a 5star boutique hotel with only 7rooms which were fantastic only down site was my car was a 5min walk in a free public carpark. (didn’t have any problems) but theres always that fear.
Friday of the F1 weekend we have to be at the circuit really early to make we didn’t miss ou paddock walk time slot. We met up with our friend who arranged it for at the bottom of of the F1 village we had an hour of free roaming down th pit straight and in and around the team motor homes its a totally different world could have stayed there alday.
Here are some photos.... you might reckonize some faces

Just missed vettel was taking a photo of Sergio perez

I got loads of photos nearly 300 so sorting through the was a mission.
Sunday we ended up going in really early to get the best spot on the hill just off eau rouge (were vettels tyre exploded) which turned into a 8hour saw bum competition but we could have asked for a better result lewis on top spot and me winning £45 on grosjean finishing in the top 6.... i did consider podium but honestly thought i was just out of his reach. Really enjoyed the Porsche supercup before the F1 started. If anyone every wants to do this grand prix i highly recommend it getting in and out of the circuit is well policed and organised never hit any real problem apart from the odd slow mving traffic.
I had a absolute blast and would do it all again next..... that might be a thought.
Thanks for taking the time to read my post and sorry for the delay.
