Being fat considered a disability?

Point being ?

Starving makes you look good and healthy ?

Hardly, unless you have a penchant for the emaciated?

The point being:

calorie intake - energy expenditure = calories stored

Your missing the point...

People in POW camps and 3rd world countries arent thin because they watch there calorie intake, dont eat Macdonalds and eat a balanced diet..Its because they didnt have any food...How would you expect them to look ?

To say "there aint no fat people in Biafra" is insulting on a whole different level..

I didn't say it! I was merely helping you understand what someone else had posted - it was their analogy, not mine, nor was it one I would have used

just a thought:- will car parks need more disabled parking bays?
Surely it would make more sense to have the bays further away and give them a bit of exercise to get to the shops.
Might get flamed for that :fuelfire: but in case I dont what about this....
Real disabled people, why should the bays be closer for them when they dont even have to walk... the have wheelchairs.
Or parent and child spaces, surely the exercise for the kid would be good or can they not walk the length of themseves?

Lol. That's a serious/genuine post. You actually meant that didn't you

Well as I've managed to upset someone :D .... I will continue .....

The Dutch have a good expression .... " ieder pondje gaat door het mondje "
which basically means every pound on your waistline went through your mouth ........

which is the point I was making before, if you don't eat, you don't get fat .......

People who cant stop eating ..... get fat
People who can ........ don't :driving:

It's a toxic environment.

People are innocent of intent to store fat, generally. Sometimes it is medically advised but on the whole I suspect the environment is unhelpful. They ( normal people) are lumbered with a standard appetite and it is damaging them. 95% of men in the UK are a little podgy or worse. How can that be our fault? If only one in twenty is thin the problem isn't individual, it is systemic.

Blaming the victims is easy, actually solving the problem less so.

We need to tax sugar, probably, and Palm oil maybe. manufacturers could be held accountable. Supermarkets closed, McVities burnt to the ground, white sliced was not a great invention.

This thread is a disaster. We need to be working together against short term corporate interests, kicking Cadbury in the nadgers.

Have you been in a supermarket?

2000 types of biscuit and a bag of frozen broccoli costing nearly a million quid hidden at the back of the frozen cake selection and under a pile of ten pence doughnuts.
