I think you can swap over the bases quite easily - heated elements you can't without butchering the seats and the elements (new M seats heater elements are over £200 per seat)

I have my old electric set sitting in the garage so I would be very tempted.. You would happen to have any more information or a link on this?

Pawn fitted a heater element to his seats... had to open the seats up though.

I have to say I am very tempted even though I just fitted the electric heated once I just bought from you :lol:

Don't worry your not alone with your bad timing! I've missed out on plenty, also bought something to find the same cheaper or better a week later

I would go for them if you can live without heated seats?
 
Thats what I am thinking too.. To be honest I like heated seats but I much prefer the sports seats over the other ones and in the heated/sports argument sports come on top for me.

If they stay within a reasonable price I will be bidding and put the heated/electric on for sale. I am sure there are a few people on here interested :)
