Beige Interior - Dirty Gear Knob

I have an e85 with a beige (I think also referred to as 'oregon' ?) interior. The gear knob has become a 'lovely' brown colour over the years . The rest of the interior is in good condition, only being let down by this one feature (and the worn silver trim underneath the handbrake lever).

Would it be worth purchasing a new beige knob, or will it again wear and discolour quickly? Do those of you with a beige interior have a solution, or have you just lived with the patina :??

Black ZHP wouldn't look out of place.

You can most likely get it reasonably clean but it won't last & as suggested perhaps a black one is the way forward ?
If you want to try a clean in the past to clean dirty leather ive used ( yea wait for the gasps at the back ) a solution of leather cleaner & swarfega applied gently with the wiry green side of a kitchen foam sponge yep just don't go at it like a bull at a gate & make sure you use even amounts of the leather balm , , also works on the seats & doorcards

Oh that is nice. Did you change your handbrake lever as well? Or does it fit in well as is?

Pull the old knob off, new one just fits straight on, tighten up with a little grub screw.

If it won't clean up and you do buy a new beige one, it should stay clean for years..unless you drive with dirty hands :|

Just bought a black ZHP (25117896031) for £45. Figured that it would match the black steering wheel .
