We are about to experience that once in a lifetime thrill when a child leaves home! Sort of, we only have one and this will be his third attempt to leave, University, Royal Navy and now he's bought a house.
We found ourselves without a 'normal car' that can be used to transport all the stuff they have been given, taken or borrowed from friends around Kent. So I'm looking for a van or even a big estate that would last say 3 months whilst we move stuff around. It really needs to be roadworthy with 3 months tax and MoT so my sons girlfriend would feel comfortable driving it. They have no money left and I've had to delve into my pension for the deposit, so a starting price of free would be good.
If anyone knows of vehicle nearly, but not quite, on it's last legs we would would be interested.
