My son did a track day at Bedford today in his M130i,he said there were a couple of Z4 on the track, anyone off the forum.

Speaking to him today he said it was very well organised .The standard of driving was good ,In fact it was more hazardous on the journey home via the M25.The only bad driving he spotted was a guy in a Porsche who was given the black flag.

The 130iM is a 3ltr one series producing about 260 bhp.
I have not been there but my son said it is very good,it claims to be the safest track in the UK
The location is Thurleigh which is North of Bedford post code. MK44 2YP.

Is that the Bedford Autodrome where the Jonathan Palmer track days are (or maybe were) held?

Yerp, He owns it, I had some friends up there today in a Radical, I was going to go and watch... But I decided it was too cold.

I live less than a mile away!

Had the privilege of a couple of JP days up there, it's a really top day out :-) Massive grins.

Jonathan Palmer [under the MSV banner] is also in charge of running Brands Hatch, Oulton Park, Snetterton and Cadwell Park.

He very kindly provides FREE track days to marshals  - so if anyone wants to see me make a complete ar5e of myself then come to Oulton on Saturday 7th February.

I can't promise anything as I have done this before :) - other than the tyres will be fcuked - well they are almost slicks, so I may as well finish them off by :driving:

Thanks Maxman, I'll give it a look.

Do you mean an M135i or the older 130i? Interested because I am thinking about getting an M135i and would be interested in getting your views on it.

Thanks again.

He said the Radical was very quick .
The 130i M is the older version, averaged 10 mpg going around the track. On the journey there and back it averaged 37 mpg.
