Great day and so worth spending just 50 quid!

Great to meet Aebos once again and Matty for the first time :) .

For all those that didnt come, you school-boyed it :D ! Fantastic weather, sun dipping down as we drove into the evening. Not too many cars on track. Very friendly and just enough track time to keep you satisfied without needing a major brake upgrade.

One of the highlights was a spell of track time with just our 3 zeds out together and watching Matty kick the tail out in my rear view mirror as we exited a tight left hander. Very cool :driving:

heres a few pics of the day..

My friend in an M5, brutally quick but we didnt have the braking power to control it. The M3s were annhilated on the straights.

It was a great day, I really enjoyed it. I was very impressed with the Zed's capability on track & being able to keep up with M3s and M5s! 8) It was good having another two 3.0i's there and to meet you Stuart and to see Aerbous again :)

The highlight for me was our session with the 3 Zeds on track together, great fun! :D I wondered if you'd seen my tail slide, I liked doing it out of that corner :P

Great pics Dreamer, I only got a few of the cars in the pits but I'll put them up when I get home (just on iPhone now).

Matty - i think keeping up with the M3's and M5s was down to the fact there were some very slow drivers there that day. I was very suprised how slow some people were considering they had stripped out there interiors and fitted bucket seats etc. That said it was a novice day though.

Mind you the Z4 did handle quite nicely as long as you got the entry speed right, the exit was just a small wiggle and out very neatly (sometimes :D )

I think all of us were pretty quick actually, we all certainly kept up with each other and if we had some decent brake pads fitted then we would have been amongst the quickest of the day probably. :)

I have to agree. Though i'm still going to brag that we beat some M3's. I think some of the older ones there have about the same HP as our cars, so I guess it would boil down to suspension. Still though, it was an awesome day with the highlight being the 3 of us dominating the track at the end. I can't wait for the next one. Great seeing ya'll!

Yeah some of them weren't that quick, the other M5 I had a good run with was pushing though, you could see in the corners and after talking to him. I think the lower weight and handling of the Zed make a big difference.

Here's my few pics from in the pits:
