Be afraid...

Of what? That you're back on the road :P

Wow, no inflationary rise since I paid for mine in May :poke:

The cost...tbh i knew it was coming and have factored the cost in but when you see it on paper it hits you between the eyes!

It is the cost of Joy, to be lived with. PVR will be along in a bit to tell us how much cheaper his Porsche is ...

Sorry, 6 minutes Bing :poke:

Oh - and on my last 300 mile run back to the Continent I got 36 mpg as well

I hate October!! Both insurance and tax are up. Road tax is more than my insurance. Mental!!
That's why I only bought 6 month's tax the first time - so now there's a 6 month gap between tax & insurance bills.

At least it goes to a good cause. The maintenance of our wonderful congestion free highways

I'm sure that, on the last run, PVR jr was looking at the Porker and wondering how long it would be before he could get away with asking to borrow it...

PVR Jr is driving a 50th Anniversary at Silverstone on monday (Porsche provided), so I think he can wait a few days ... :P

Probably 25 years with the appreciation of this model taking into account

My M is holding it's value pretty well, even with the added smiles

It is depressing and it's a big bill when it hits, but Im glad soon we'll be able to pay monthly by direct debit like most other things on life. Doesn't make the thievery any more acceptable but at least it doesn't have to hurt so much in one go.

The only downside is they get even more of our hard earned!

Yes and less resistance when they put it up even more because, "it's only a couple of more quid a month..."
