BCABLES Diagnostic Cable - installation question.

It's good to know that it works via the installer on an XP PC.
My understanding is that the installaller package installs VMWare which is power hungry, another layer of complexity and, as far as I can see, just emulates a native XP PC. If that is the case then it should (logically?) run on a native XP PC without VMWare. Has anyone done this?

Win 7 x64 and it works faultlessly. Just try it and don't worry about it if it works
