Just quick update .
Payed on 15th of November.
Today 1st of December, all I received is numerous excuses. Now trying to get my money back.
Leson learned, never buy anything on forums.

I gave him my si gear knob on condition he donated to the zedward appeal, he donated all of £5
Rob

In his defence, you didn't specify a minimum donation, so he's well within his rights to donate £5.

Remember, not everyone is made of money and whilst £5 may seem like pocket change to you, it could be a substantial amount for someone else.

You're right Ben I didn't stipulate an amount of money, I just thought as it was for charity that he'd pay a reasonable amount (I even paid the £4 postage for him)
How foolish of me.
Rob

I agree, and if you're short of money you don't go wasting it on gear knobs! I find this very disappoint to say the least and it makes me bloody angry!

Who are you to tell someone what they can and can't spend their money on? You sound like a middle class snob

The guy donated an amount to a good cause. He could have taken the knob and not donated a penny, so try to look at the positives and ignore the negatives.

Sure, all us builders are middle class snobs! Im not telling anyone what they should spend their money on, I meant if you are genuinely hard up you are careful what you spend your money on, and that's from personal experience. I don't dispute he hasn't broken any rules as Rob naively didn't set a price however, I think he has taken advantage of Robs good nature and in my book that's morally wrong. I sure Marius has an opinion on morals as well

In Marius' case, yes I agree that is well out of order and not needed.

What I will say though is i've bought and sold plenty on this forum (as well as giving a few things away for free) and I've never had any problems whatsoever, so it's not all bad

I've also sold an item to Lewis and he was a pleasure to deal with. It's just a shame something has gone wrong here and I hope it gets sorted out.

Another update.
Coilovers came in the end, still not sure why he ignored my messages. I apologise for calling him scamer because he's clearly not.
Fitted them today and forgot about all trouble once I took it for a drive :D

I've just checked on your go fund me page... there's two £5 donations from a lewisdavid_ how come you haven't mentioned that? seems a bit harsh to say what you've said and tried to make him feel rubbish at donating when you didn't even say how much to donate?
