BC Racing BR Series Coilovers for E85 02-08 SOLD

True-Blue

Veteran
 Bristol/Bath
Off the car and photo added, they are in excellent condition, rears also very good

EDIT - so I’d prefer collection, but obviously that doesn’t work for everyone. For courier collection, I want the buyer to arrange for insured collection/delivery - this is simply because I want the contract with the courier to be between the buyer and the courier. I hope that makes sense, I’ll obviously package securely and measure/weigh etc.

From what I can see they appear to be in excellent condition, and (from the MOT history of the car & knowing when they were fitted) they’ve done circa 10k miles possibly less. They drive very well indeed, but I want the car to be more standard than it is currently.

My gut feeling is that £500 is realistic if advertising to a wider audience than just this forum, but I’m happy to listen to feedback as I think generally the forum views are pretty fair

Just to add, if anyone has done a relatively recent suspension refresh with B4’s and Eibach Pro’s but fancies these instead, I’d be happy to do a deal where you have these first and then left me have your parts once off of your car - so you stay mobile.

My car is a weekend car, and it’s easy for me to have it on axel stands in the garage for a while. I’d be looking for some cash my way on top.

To be clear, I’m not going to take any old clapped out shocks in PX as I want to keep this car

I have some brand new B4,s if you are interested that I was going to list for sale next week.

I bought them for my 3.0 which I have now sold.

Not sure if they fit the si model.

I’m not looking to part exchange as I have my M now which im planning to keep standard for a while

Could be, depending on how much you want for them? I buy my parts from Auto.doc so can get them delivered for a very good price. If you want to let me have the part numbers I’ll check them out

I’m back from holiday tommorrow and will post up the part nos.

I know they fit the 3.0 M54

Great, thanks, Auto.doc hasn’t hit the magical 45% discount so far this week so haven’t ordered yet

Hi.

Sorry for the slow response. The rears are part no 19-158983, front left 22-164568. I forgot to check front right but should be 22-164575.

I'd be looking for £275 collected from Canterbury, Kent if of interest.

Thank you though

Hi,
would you know id these coilovers will fit the z4 e86 3.0si?

Hi Bobstar, yes, same kit/spring rates for E85/E86 with this kit. There’s a forum user who has fitted them to his E86, I’ll try and find a link for you

Here you go;

Hi,
Thank you for getting back to me. The link looks like it is the same coilover set up as yours. I cannot be 100%, I take your word for it.

Are your coilovers are still available??

I am currently running:
Eibach pro springs-SEPT2020
Sachs Front shocks-OCT 2020
Bilstein B4 rear - END OF 2019

Would these be of interest to you?

Yes they’re still available, haven’t taken off the car yet and not advertised them anywhere else.

I’d have preferred a matching set of shocks, but how many miles have they done since you fitted them?

What are you thinking in terms of a deal?

The front shocks and all 4 springs have done less than 5k miles. Rear shocks have done around 8k. No knocks bumps or leaks from any.

I was also looking for Bilstein B4 for the front at the time of replacement to match the rears but couldn't find them anywhere.

The Sach fronts were more expensive at the time of purchase. They have proven to be a good oem replacement, and work well with the eibach Pro springs.

With regards to what kind of deal.... what did you have in mind?

What area are you located?

Are there any knocks or leaks from any of the shocks?

Do you have the adjustment keys?

You mentioned possibly sending first to keep my car mobile how will this work?

Replied in PM which you should be able to reply to as you have over 3 posts.

But, in order; Bristol, No definitely not, yes, also including remote rebound adjusters for the rear

I put my car on stands in the garage and carefully remove the coilover kit - we get this to you and then you remove yours, replace with mine and get yours to me.
