BBS LM-R replica alloys. Require refurbishment

BBS LM-R style alloys (replicas).

19x8.5 et38 fronts
19x10 et35 rears

1 crack on a rear alloy
1 Flatspot on a front alloy
Possible 3 flatspots on the other front alloy

I think that's all the damage from what I can see/remember from what the refurbisher told me a few years ago.

They do have curbing to the outer lips and some of the white milky finish, due to the polished dish not liking the winter salt. There are also a few of the fake bolts missing too.

It turned out to be cost prohibitive for me to get these refurbished, although they did say it could be done if I wanted to pay for it. I decided to get my 18's refurbished instead.

Only looking for £50 for them and collection only from near Lakeside shopping centre, Essex, as I'd like any buyer to look at what they're buying first.

If no takers, I'll either chuck them on ebay or weigh them in for scrap.

Cheers, Ben.

What a lovely looking wheel! Shame about that crack...is that repairable?

The guys at paint it uk said they would weld the crack and it would be fine. I think they said it would cost £50 to do that. The flatspots could also be repaired, but again, at cost.

I paid over £400 for the alloys, so could not justify the expense of refurbishment and tyres. They've been sat in my garage and shed for 3 years and I thought it was about time I got rid

Should have wrapped them in proper sized rubber Ben :D :poke:
Great wheels on the Z , always thought your car looked epic on these & with a few ££ spent they would roll again , the buckled rim can easily be warmed & reshaped , the split can be welded , as Jamie , if i was closer id happily give you the £50 :)

Hey Ben, how much of a hurry are you in to have these collected? I’m after something a bit different and don’t mind a project, but it would be a couple of weeks before I could get to you. Stu

Those wheels look so good on a “Z”
Had I not just purchased from a forum member my black Style 108’s I would have liked these
The crack and the buckles are an easy fix and factoring the cast of total repair for buckles/crack/kerbing/refurb repairs, these will be a bargain.

Cheers all  If I had a mate who could refurbish alloys I'd get them sorted for beers, but unfortunately I don't  will be a shame to see them go as they're a lovely looking wheel, but I inherited 2 small sheds with my new house, whereas I used to have an actual garage before, so work space is currently rather tight

Hi Stu. Not in any great rush to shift them. Happy to keep them aside for you if you'd like them? I'm based about 5 minutes from the QE2 Bridge/junction 30/31 of the M25.

If you're interested drop me a pm and I'll mark these as sold
