BBS CSL's

I am looking for some new genuine CSL wheels for my Z4MC. Can anyone recommend where to get them from? I have looked quite extensively online and it seems like a bit of a minefield. I went to see some today and had to meet at a Selfstore depot where he disappeared with a trolley and came back with an example which I was told he gets straight from BBS but it didn't have the 'BMW' between the centre cap and ///M badge which I understand it the thing to look for.

Any advise would be appreciated....

If your looking for new ones BMW direct but you will need a chassis/vin number of a CSL - I believe you will have to find someone nice enough to lend you one and you should be able to get a genuine set direct.

Your are right BMW needs to be opposite the BBS print. Also genuine CSLs are 8.5J at the front with CS being 8J. CS can also be genuine. You can get really geeky about this stuff but thats the basics...

M3 cutters.....another forum im told is a good place to watch out for a set.

I have a set, and can order another set through my BMW contact.....they're not cheap though! PM me if you want more info. I used to have a CSL so have the VIN number (which you need).

I have posted this before, have a look at this site, wheels with tyres. These have the 8j front rims, if you want the 8.5j they are another €150

I was recently quoted £1600-£1700 for CSL rims alone at BMW and that was after discount :o

I bought set from guy who had self storage, they are genuine BBS but not BMW. Bought them in black chrome and had them fitted by him, unfortunately didn't inspect them that well when first washed them found powder coating was abysmal, runs and dirt in powder coat, have tried contacting him by email but no response, :x won't phone because want his response in black and white, SO DON'T TOUCH THIS GUY!! Have since bought set genuine BMW CSL's off a guy on cutters, like brand new with nearly new quality tyres think I paid @£1600 so be patient and keep eye out on all forums something will come up and be quick if interested it's a sellers market for genuine CSL's.

If they were genuine BBS then the quality of them would be spot on and the seller would sort any issues out. Somehow he still manages to get away selling tat.

If you bought on you CC then go through them to get money back, but no doubt he didn't tske CC payments.

they are NOT bbs-bmw wheels. completely false, the backing offset pad is completely different, as is the general construction. You only need to pick them up to confirm that. Why on gods earth people still choose to listen to this load of shite i will never know!
