BBS 108 Refurb cost?

I've been quoted £648 for a full set of 108's to be full refurbed, with a 12 month guarantee.

Is that about right?

that's a more reasonable price, but I suspect more for mine being composite?
 
I just had mine done last week at a place with a very good reputation (Prestige hartlepool). Wheels were fully stripped back / blasted, refurbed and painted with a chrome lip. All four for £280. Will try and upload pics later.
 
I had the same treatment on mine and paid £240 inc vat, I did have to split the wheels myself though
 
Referb on 108's is costly due to them requiring fully stripped down, which can be troublesome.
The quote you have received does seem on the high side.

I have just had mine done 3 weeks ago via 'The Wheel Specialist'. £500 for them fully stripped, blasted, chrome power coat finish for the lip and standard silver (powder coat) for the centres.

Not cheap, but they look factory fresh. (Wheel specialist provide 'drive in drive out' service which for good)
 
The previous owner had them "refurbed" last year, but the company that did them painted them as a whole rather than strip them, and didn't even bother to blast the corrosion underneath. Needless to say, they were in a shocking state. Far better now.

Contact mr wilks he might still be doing his swap thing? That worked well for me.

I was getting quoted about 100 ish per wheel
 
I have been thinking of getting my 108s done and a recolour is there anywhere recommended manchester end?

Can you get them apart yourself ? That is half the price of having these wheel,s refurbed ,
Some wheel,s can be split in 10/15 mins but others can be a complete PITA :cry:
 
I'm going to be getting mine done soon. Was thinking of CSL'S but decided to stick with the OEM look :D

I was quoted 400 quid for full refurb including a diamond cut finish for the back of the rims.
